The paste is very suitable for polishing ebonite mouthpieces but can also be used for caring for other mouthpieces. Very fine granulated stone powders of volcanic origin are added to the base material paraffin. These grinding materials remove undesired coatings, the wax brings a new shine. It is best to apply the paste in a thick layer, so that the developping rubbings can be taken up without hindering the effect of the grinding materials. Here is some advice: avoid excessive deposits by polishing your mouthpiece regularly. With more pressure and many rubbing movements you optimize the effect. Furthermore, if you polish the mouthpiece diagonally you can improve the result even more.
